Food Service Worker Diploma Program

The Food Service Worker (FSW) program is designed for individuals who wish to become effective members of a food service team within a health-care organization.  Students receive target training in areas such as safe food handling, food service, sanitation, nutrition and quantity food preparation. The program includes a practicum placement term in a healthcare facility, which provides students with vast hands-on experience that meets current government standards and employer requirements.  Successful graduates find employment in: Hospitals, Long Term Care Institutions, Special Care Homes and Integrated Care Facilities.

Admissions Requirements

• Grade 12 Diploma (or equivalent) or
• Mature Student Status
• Medical Form Completed by a Doctor
• Police Clearance
• Good Command of the English Language
