To stop the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), we will be remaining open with reduced staff, and all classes will now be available through “remote learning”.
At A1-Global College, our #1 focus is the health and wellness of our students. Amid the Covid-19 virus, we have taken proactive steps to apply social distancing as much as we can. In effort, we have set new protocols that can help limit spread in the following ways:
For applicants:
We have taken proactive steps to limit our in-person interaction by incorporating online modes of communication. In effort, you can call directly at (905) 672 2277 for full information or email directly at [email protected]. We have also setup an online application for those that would like to apply online.
Students applying for future start dates will be enrolled in the class for “remote learning” until further notice. Instructor-led classes on campus will resume upon no continued risk to students from Covid-19.
For students:
1. Terminating all classes in person as of March 23rd 2020, and moving to a online method of teaching. We will be using skype for communicating and theory of all our programs.
2. Continuous support will be available to our students whether they are currently enrolled in our programs, are doing their placements or are alumni’s. We are available via phone from as early as 7am to as late as 9pm. We monitor our emails and respond as soon as possible so that we can address any concerns our students have. Online classes are a method of learning being used by various public universities and colleges and we want to ensure that we can provide this for our students as well to avoid significant loss of program quality. If students wish to use our computer stations, we will allow them to attend on a first come-first serve basis, by appointment, but limited to a maximum of 5 students at any given time.
