STANDARD FIRST AID & CPR
(LEVEL C)
The Standard First Aid and CPR Course is designed for those individuals who want to acquire the medical skills required to respond during an emergency situation. Utilizing a balanced combination of theory and practice, knowledge and skills that are taught in the classroom are reinforced and evaluated during the hands-on part of the training. Students learn safety and healthy lifestyle choices which are necessary to prevent illness and injury. A1-GLOBAL College’s Standard First Aid & CPR meets the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) requirements and the Canada Labour Code.
Certification:
Certification in Standard First Aid, CPR Level C, and AED
BASIC LIFE SUPPORT
(HCP)
Designed to build participant confidence in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills in a team environment for professionals with a duty to respond. Teaches the important steps to perform a rapid assessment, perform Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, and perform rapid defibrillation including the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Airway Management and Oxygen Therapy can also be added as additional certifications to this course.
