Better Jobs Ontario is a government funded financial assistance program that helps unemployed or underemployed individuals in Ontario retrain for in-demand careers. It is available to Ontario residents who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons.

This cost sharing grant helps cover essential education related expenses such as tuition fees, books, transportation, and childcare. In some cases, individuals may also qualify for additional support to help with living expenses during their training.

Better Jobs Ontario is especially beneficial for those who have been laid off, unemployed for an extended period, or working in low income or unstable jobs. Programs in key sectors such as healthcare, technology, construction, and advanced manufacturing may be prioritized for faster approval.

To apply, individuals must be accepted into an eligible training program. A1 Global College is an approved institution and provides support to students throughout the application process.

Better Jobs Ontario helps remove financial barriers and makes career training more accessible. Apply today to begin your journey toward a better future.
